Hey Ray! Lot's going on this week. We had dinner tonight with the Springett/Tuttles. Robbie is moving to Singapore on Friday for a couple of years. Yes, I said that right - Singapore. He is going to have a blast and learn a ton. So, our annual Christmas dinner with them will be a little weird this year without you and Robbie.
We ate at the new Thai restaurant, 98 Asian Bistro. Great atmosphere/decor - food was okay. There is lots of potential for this little area and some great retail space.
In current events, there has been a lot of discussion this week about race and justice, but I am not going to dwell on that. I am going to stick to the important stuff. Someone recently claimed that they found a picture of Jesus on their Pug's butt! For real - look it up! http://youtu.be/6xe69FTP-DU
In other news, someone took Taylor Swift's song Shake it Up and combined it with the 1988 Crystal Light Aerobics Championship. This is something that you would certainly appreciate. Took me back to the days that Mom and Aunt Janice would go to the Y in their leotards and leg warmers for some good aerobic workouts.
The girls and I are looking forward to continuing a tradition tomorrow that you and I always shared. We will wake up and glue ourselves to the television to watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Thankfully, they love this! (And Al Roker doesn't even scare them away) I hope to one day take them to see this live in person.
Preliminary planning for The Rachael is in the works. More to come on that later, but some good ideas are flowing. I really need to meet with Dave L. and get some input from him as well. Any special ideas or requests you have - send em on down.
Love and Pickles
K, bye.

Letters to Rachael 11.23.14
Today we are heading to Mom and Dad's to celebrate Dad's birthday. Benji and I went and purchased his new grill yesterday from Home Depot. Of course, we headed to the Kettle afterwards to have a quick brew. I have to admit, Benj and I do not get together enough just he and I, but I always enjoy when we have the opportunity to just hang out.
Before you start yelling at me - Yes, we know that Dad's birthday was November 10th, but it is going to take some time for Benji and I to get as good as you were about making sure we were all organized and ready for family birthdays.
We went to see one of your very favorite artists Friday night, Garth Brooks. I know you really loved Garth and he put on an unbelievable show. I have probably not listened to his music since I was in high school and I am certainly not a huge country music fan, but I can appreciate a good show. So many of the songs made me think of you.
Today, we had a family movie day since it was raining. We watched your favorite Christmas movie, Elf. You would have certainly appreciated Brewer and Keller's enthusiasm for watching this movie. "Bye Buddy, I hope you find your Dad."
Thanksgiving is next week. We are all planning to go to Mom and Dad's for afternoon football games and Thanksgiving dinner. So, in the spirit of Thanksgiving, this is what I am thankful for right now:
1. Family. All of my family - immediate, extended, friends, work, etc. I am blessed.
2. The fact that Keller asked her Mom for re-assurance this week that you are still here with her as an angel. I hope this never ends. Your prayers that you wrote for Keller and Brewer hang over their bed and always remind us of the importance of prayer and family.
3. My job. While it has not been easy for the past few weeks/months, I have come to appreciate good leadership and good ethics. I hope they find me as important to them as I find them to me.
4. facebook. Sounds weird to say, but this social media giant was never high on my priority list until I realized how important it was to our communication. I can always go back to conversations I had with you and I have facebook to thank for providing this platform.
So, sorry it took so long to get a letter out to you. I will try and get better and until next time, give Raisen a scratch behind the ears for us...TTYL.
K, bye.
